IBX Treatment
IBX helps to strengthen weak, damaged nails. This intensive strengthening treatment helps you to grow your natural nails by toughening the nail plate from the inside. IBX can be used to: treat thin, weak, damaged nails; repair delamination and peeling; toughen natural nails, helping them to grow; improve the colour and appearance of your natural nails; and can be used as a protective shield under gel polish or nail enhancements.
Add the cost below onto a basic Buff & Shine manicure, or onto a Gel Polish manicure (with or without nail art). Your first IBX appointment will be 3 layers.

NAIL ART
I do various forms of nail art, including hand painted nail art, as well as the use of decals, nail art stamps, pigment and chrome powders, glitters, diamanté, pearls and studs. Very intricate and time consuming nail art designs may need to be pre-ordered, and these will cost more depending on the complexity of the design. For simple designs, decals, stamping and pigment work, the following price applies.

If you see something that you like on Pinterest, Instagram, etc., please feel free to bring the picture with you to your next appointment, or send me a query via my Facebook page, along with the photo. If you have any nail art decals or embellishments of your own, that you would like me to use on your nails, please feel free to bring them along to your appointment.
MANICURES and PEDICURES
* Important: If you’ve had gel polish applied to your nails at a different salon and need it to be removed before having your nails painted at Rambling Rose, please add on the additional charge for removal of gel polish applied elsewhere.
All services are performed dry, there is no water involved in these services (no nail soak, no foot scrub, no foot spa.)
This applies to any gel polish applied at a different salon. Add this onto any manicure or pedicure service if you need your existing polish removed at your appointment at Rambling Rose.
This service is performed on naked nails that have no nail polish on. A cuticle tidy, shaping your nails with a nail file and buffing them to a high shine (there is no application of nail polish). It is finished off with cuticle oil and hand cream (for manicures only).
Your old polish removed, the cuticles are tidied and your nails filed to the desired shape before being buffed. Traditional nail polish is applied – this air dries and can be removed with nail polish remover at home. Top coat is applied, followed by cuticle oil and hand cream. Please wear jandals if you’re getting a traditional polish pedicure.
Your old polish applied previously at Rambling Rose* is removed, the cuticles are tidied and your nails filed to the desired shape before being buffed. A base coat, Correction gel (clear polish), and top coat is applied, followed by cuticle oil and hand cream. Artistic Colour Gloss applies like a nail polish, but is cured in an LED lamp and is completely dry and smudge free when you leave. It stays on nails for up to 21 days, and soaks off completely, leaving your natural nails in perfect condition. Future removals are included with with reapplication.

An Artistic Colour Gloss gel polish colour of your choice is applied, followed by cuticle oil and hand cream. Upgrade your plain colour gel polish manicure or pedicure to a classic pink & white French manicure, or be adventurous and choose any two complimentary colours. Add this cost and additional time to your manicure or pedicure service.
Includes the removal of your gel polish applied previously at Rambling Rose*, a cuticle tidy, shaping your nails to the desired shape with a nail file before buffing them to a high shine. They are then finished off with cuticle oil and hand cream.

Kindly book the removal of extensions service along with the necessary service you require. Different brands and products have different removal methods. I won’t know what brand or product has been used on your nails, or how long it will take to get off.
Removal of product from another salon prior to having your new extensions or overlay done. Time may vary, as different products take different time to remove, and I won’t know what is on your nails.
A Builder Gel (BIAB) or PolyGel overlay is applied over the top of your natural nails to add strength. No extra length is added. The overlay is then buffed and finished with your choice of Artistic Colour Gloss gel polish, followed by cuticle oil and hand cream. Nail art is additional.
Do you wish your nails were longer? Long, strong, beautiful nails are possible with nail enhancements. Gel-On Xtensions Soft Gel Nail tips are full-coverage tips that are incredibly light and feel very natural. They have an ultra-thin cuticle area and move with the nail creating a fit that will beat ABS plastic nail tips, and can be worn for up to 21 days. The enhancements are buffed and shaped after application, before being finished off with your choice of Artistic Colour Gloss gel polish, followed by cuticle oil and hand cream. Nail art is additional (see nail art costs listed above).
Gel-On Xtensions are perfect for a special event or short-term wear (up to 21 days), as they are soaked off once they’ve started to grow out.
Removal of existing Gel-On Xtensions and reapplication of a fresh set.
Do you wish your nails were longer? Long, strong, beautiful nails are possible with nail enhancements. These are sculpted over forms (a type of sticker) with Artistic Putty (PolyGel). As there is no glued-on plastic tip to create a weak spot, these enhancements look completely natural and are strong. The enhancements are then buffed and shaped, before being finished with your choice of Artistic Colour Gloss gel polish, followed by cuticle oil and hand cream. Nail art is additional.
PolyGel enhancements are perfect for long-term wear and will need to be backfilled and rebalanced every two to three weeks.
Please note that these are active length “natural” looking enhancements, meaning no more than 50% additional length is added when looking at the length of your natural nail bed (the pink part of your nail), and will be shaped round, oval, squoval, square, almond or short coffin. I do not offer “extreme” extensions (stiletto, edge, Russian almond or other non-traditional shapes), as these require more than 50% added length and can affect the health of your natural nails if they are not cared for properly.
For PolyGel applied previously at Rambling Rose salon only**. Not suitable for product applied elsewhere as product may not be compatible.
To maintain your nail enhancements, they need to be rebalanced every two to three weeks. This will cover the regrowth that appears near your cuticle and will ensure that your enhancements don’t lift. Your old polish is removed, the rebalance done, your nails shaped and buffed, before being finished with your choice of Artistic Colour Gloss gel polish, followed by cuticle oil and hand cream. Nail art is additional.
Upgrade your plain colour gel polish over your enhancements to a classic pink & white French manicure using the Rock Hard range of LED products. Add this cost and time onto the extension or overlay appointment time and cost.
For product applied at Rambling Rose salon only.** Includes the removal of your existing PolyGel extensions or Gel-On Xtensions, a cuticle tidy, shaping your natural nails, IBX strengthening treatment, and buffing them to a high shine. Finished off with cuticle oil and hand cream.
Have you broken a nail? There’s no need to file all your nails down and have short nails until they regrow. The broken nail can be repaired and built up using Builder Gel (BIAB), Artistic Putty (PolyGel) or a Gel-On Xtension, so that it’s the same length as all your other nails. The repair is then buffed and shaped, before being finished with your choice of Artistic Colour Gloss gel polish, followed by cuticle oil and hand cream. Nail art is additional.
For product applied at Rambling Rose salon only.** Removal of the Builder Gel (BIAB), Artistic Putty (PolyGel) or Artistic Gel-On Xtension nail repair once the natural nail has grown out, or the product has started to lift.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers are available on request for any of the services mentioned above, or for a monetary amount specified by you. These can either be printed for you to collect, or can be emailed to you in a PDF format for you to print yourself or email to the recipient. If you would like the voucher to be posted, additional postage fees will apply.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Services in this salon are for women only.
- Removal of product applied elsewhere will incur an extra fee.
- Gel polish and enhancements will not be applied to anyone under the age of 16.
- There is a strict NO CHILDREN policy in the salon, as various harmful chemicals and breakables are within reach. This is for the safety of your children and yourself, as well as myself and my products. Read this article for more info.
- No wet services are offered in this salon (hand/foot soaks or scrubs).
- Nails are not cut with clippers. No cuticle cutting. No “Russian” manicures.
- No SNS, dipping, or acrylic services are offered.
- If you require the services of a podiatrist and not a nail technician, the service you booked may not be carried out. Read this article for more info.
- No mobile service is offered for nail appointments -these all take place in-salon.
- Make-up appointments have their own list of Terms & Conditions. These will be emailed to you along with your quotation.
BOOKING & RESCHEDULING
- All appointments require a booking. No “walk-ins” accepted.
- Appointments can be booked via the online booking system. Appointments can also be cancelled or rescheduled (up to 24 hours before appointment time) using the same online booking system.
- I am unable to answer phone calls while I am busy with a client. Please send a text or email and I will respond as soon as I am able to.
- If you are sick, please cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- If you are running a few minutes late, please send me a text and let me know. My number is at the bottom of your booking confirmation.
- If you arrive 15 minutes (or more) late for an appointment, you will have to reschedule your appointment and the late notice fee (mentioned below) will apply.
- If there is a problem with your gel polish or enhancements within 3 days of your original appointment date, it will be repaired for free, as long as no ‘foul play’ is suspected.
- Outside of the 3 day period, you will need to pay the necessary repair fee mentioned on the price list. Repair appointments are subject to availability.
- Please follow the after care advice in the sheet given to you at your first appointment. If you’ve lost this it can be found here: “How to maintain your manicure”
- Payment is to be made at the end of all appointments, via EFTPOS or cash.
CANCELLATIONS
- Cancellations or rescheduling must be done at least 48 hours in advance.
- Any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a fee of 50% of the service price, which must be paid before you can book your next appointment.
- If you do not show up for an appointment (and do not cancel or reschedule), you will be liable for the full amount due for services booked. This will need to be paid in full before you can book your next appointment. For more info, please read “Why I charge even if you don’t show up.“
