Description
Glass nail files, also known as crystal files, help to seal the keratin layers of the nail at the free edge (tip), leaving a smooth edge which helps prevent peeling and splitting. Traditional nail files, or emery boards, are often too rough for the natural nail and should only be used by filing in one direction, but they rarely are. Filing in both directions with an emery board causes the layers of keratin to shred, leaving a microscopic jagged edge which is more prone to peeling, splitting and chipping. Glass nail files can be used in any direction. The file will last for years and it can be washed and sanitized.
Size: 14cm long, 1.2cm wide and 2mm thick. Handle colour may vary according to available stock.
